Dr. Alissa Schiske

Dr. Alissa Schiske is a post-doctoral clinical psychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, AD/HD, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. She has experience in assisting clients and families with difficulties that may impact their ability to cope with daily stressors such as school, peer relationships, and home life. Dr. Schiske utilizes evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with a strong person-centered focus, to foster growth within her clients. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and outpatient mental health clinics.

Education and Additional Professional Information

Dr. Schiske received her master’s degree in Psychology in 2018 and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 2022 from Medaille College. She is currently working toward obtaining NYS licensure.
